Where are the Libertarians? Where are the Anarcho-capitalists?

Can someone please tell me why, when someone posts a completely unoriginal straw-man argument against private security in a supposedly libertarian/an-cap community, it can generate an whopping 60 comment exchanges before someone (that would be me) posts the supposedly well-known counter arguments to this old chestnut? Don't you people, hell even just the non-an-cap Libertarians and minarchists, recognize an old and basic criticism like the Tragedy of the Commons argument when you see it? You know, sometimes, politico-ethical questions can get pretty complicated and thorny, but this one ain't rocket science. Once again I am forced to ask myself, how many members of this community even understand the basics (let alone agree with them) of what they supposedly discuss almost every single day in here? Sometimes, reading what passes for discussion in here is like watching elementary school children vigorously debate the principles of quantum mechanics. Sheesh...and we wonder why people are not getting "our message" and why Libertarian candidates can't get elected.
